GratuityIQ - AI tipping advisor for any country or situation

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built GratuityIQ because I was about to tip at a restaurant in Tokyo and realized I had absolutely no idea if I was supposed to — or if it would be considered rude. (It can be. Significantly so.) Google gave me 6 conflicting answers. So I built the thing I actually wanted: an AI advisor that understands tipping by country, service type, and quality level — not just a percentage slider. A few things that surprised me while building this: • Brazil legally mandates a 10% service charge on most bills — most tourists pay 20%+ without realizing • In France, "service compris" is almost always included — you're often double-tipping • UAE norms shift dramatically depending on whether you're at a 5-star hotel vs a local spot • The US "standard" has quietly crept from 15% → 20%+ over 15 years, driven by iPad tip screens The app is free, no signup, works on mobile.
