Lloyd - Waze for your career

Big fan of this. So many people are basically left to figure all of this out on their own... which is silly since there are actual economies of scale from having a single central source who has seen the different paths and can make sense of all the learnings.

Lloyd helped me navigate a critical career decision for my greater professional arc, in an incredibly tight timeframe. Business school career center filled this year, but it's not as easy to get their attention now that I've graduated! I'll continue to need this service for longer term career planning and in the moment feedback.

Now largely retired - so not sure I'm in the career investigation phase . . . . but had opportunity to counsel many people during my working days. Some clearly need the discipline/guidance such a tool could bring. Seems a very sound business concept, especially in the pandemic I suspect many young people are contemplating! Seems like challenges will be to provide field-specific advice for a potentially very broad range of interest/experience/background people. Suspect they will also want/expect industry-wide data (specific to their field) on things like demographics, education, experience of people in their field, maybe compensation data, perhaps geographic "hot spots", major employers, etc. Excited to see this progress!

This is an amazing concept. As someone who's transitioned between jobs in finance, and seen firsthand how often my peers move between (a) careers, (b) industries, and (c) grad programs -often without consistent, dedicated feedback- Lloyd's high-touch, personalized model serves as an excellent guide for the (young professionals') journey.

What a needed concept for 2020. There’s so many available career moves out there, but the endless possibilities are actually paralyzing! Love the idea of someone knowledgeable gently guiding.

Lloyd is building a service in a space that has been desperately needed: career counsel & accountability services that live between the once a month or once a quarter expensive 1:1 career coach and the daily or weekly complaint sessions with your work spouse. I personally have used Lloyd co-pilots as a consistent sounding board week over week in sessions that hold me to accountable on my short-term and long-term career goals.

This looks really amazing! I am sad that it didn't exist before.

What an awesome and relevant idea! I can see this becoming a benefit that employers would consider sponsoring for their employees as a professional development opportunity. And, it's affordable for individuals to pursue themselves. So overwhelming for some to pursue growth and Lloyd has broken it down into bite size steps. Go Lloyd go!
