Limn - A Little Sour. Extremely Precise.

As a brand designer, I’ve always found logo clearspace and construction grids to be one of the most important but most tedious parts of creating brand guidelines. The work is precise, repetitive, and easy to get wrong, especially when everything has to be rebuilt manually in Illustrator or Figma for every logo. I wanted a tool that treated clearspace, grids, and measurements as first-class citizens, not an afterthought. Something that worked directly with SVG logos, respected how designers actually think about space and structure, and could generate clean, consistent specifications without hours of setup. Limn came from that need. It’s built to help brand designers define clear zones, construct grids, and annotate logos accurately and efficiently, so guidelines can be created faster and with more confidence. The goal is simple: remove friction from a process that should be precise, not painful.
