Hey everyone! I started building LifeTracker back in 2009 as a personal tool. I wanted one place to organize everything I cared about (movies I watched, books I read, supplements I took, workouts, sleep) without being limited by what each app decided I could track. Over the years I kept seeing the same frustration everywhere: people juggling Letterboxd for movies, Goodreads for books, a habit app for routines, and a spreadsheet for everything that didn't fit. I'd solved that problem for myself years ago, so I decided to package it up and release it. The core idea is simple: instead of giving you a fixed template, LifeTracker lets you define your own fields, layouts, filters, and scoring rules. It's basically a personal database that's actually pleasant to use. I'm especially proud of the data ownership approach — everything lives in a standard SQLite database on your device, no account required. If you want sync, it's optional and end-to-end encrypted. I didn't want to build yet another app that holds your data hostage. I'm a solo dev, so I'd love to hear what you think — what's missing, what could be better, what you'd use it for.
