Building Life Power!
Hi all — I'm Pedro, solo founder building Life Power (launching here Aug 10).
It started from a question I kept asking as a remote worker: not "how much does that city cost?" but "what would MY salary actually make me there?" So I priced a real monthly basket — 1-BR rent, coworking, transit, daily dining — across 201 cities, and turned each salary into a level from Beggar to King.
What kept surprising me was how wrong my instincts were:
• $6,000 in New York → Beggar (level 14)
• $10,000 remote from Mexico City → King (level 94)
• $3,000 in Mexico City outranks $6,000 in San Francisco
You can try your own city + salary, free, no signup: meridianworld.app/level
Genuinely want your read before launch: which city's level looks off to you — and what's the most surprising cost gap you've personally hit working remote?
