Aha! We registered domains and other sundries well before launch.
too bad they don t have an import from IMDB. i have hundreds of movies rated there already...#growthhack

We do have that — it’s available to paid members through the web interface ().
i would strongly recommend you make it available to all.
i wouldn't use it, but seems like a way of making it easier to the folks wondering about making the change from imdb to letterboxd

Finally! This has been my favourite way to track movies for a long time and I hated logging in to the mobile site.
Been a pro member for some years and love the site and community, but the web (mobile even worse) is usually suuuuuper slow. Let's all hope this works slicker.

always found the mobile site working better than most mobile sites, but yea it could be better

Yes we are. We have some work to do to prepare terms of use and technical things like key generation and rate limits but it’s a key focus now the app is out.

Have been a Pro member of the community for a few years and always have a browser tab open with it to look up, rate, review, and add films to lists. With the app it makes it so much easier for me to look things up all the time and the app is working great for me so far.
Been a happy user of Letterboxd for ages. So glad to have a mobile app now!
I've been primarily using the mobile site on my commute to work since I first joined Letterboxd years ago. This is long awaited. And they NAILED it. A lot of complexity in this little app but it's simple to use.
Woohoo, finally a mobile app for my favorite movie site! Looks and works great. The loading times are a bit slower than expected, but I'm sure you will be optimizing it in the future. Everything else is pretty smooth. My iPhone 6s running iOS 9.0.1 gets really hot while using the app, though. There is high CPU activity which eats up the battery pretty quickly.
