Hi everyone, I’m excited to share Ledger with you. I built Ledger because I wanted a personal finance app that felt clear, modern, and actually useful for everyday life. A lot of existing tools felt either too cluttered, too rigid, or too focused on accounting-style workflows when what I really wanted was something that helped me quickly understand my spending, track cash flow, and plan for goals and trips in one place. The idea evolved from simply wanting an easier way to log expenses into building a more complete money companion, one that helps you stay aware of where your money is going and make better decisions without the experience feeling overwhelming. With Ledger, the focus has always been on keeping things simple, clean, and practical while still giving enough visibility to be genuinely helpful. I wanted it to feel lightweight for daily use, but still powerful enough to support budgeting, planning, and staying on top of your finances.
