Ledge puts what you check anyway in the notch: music with AirPlay, a timer, your next meeting, weather, notes and Keep Awake. Free and open source (GPL-3.0). Needs a MacBook with a notch on macOS 26.

Hi, I'm Ege, the developer. I made Ledge because the notch on my MacBook was a black bar I looked at all day and used for nothing.
Ledge puts the things I check anyway in it: what's playing (Music, Spotify, a browser tab, with AirPlay output), a timer, the next meeting (the Join button opens a camera mirror so you can check yourself first), the weather, notes, and Keep Awake. Volume and brightness show in the notch, in place of the system's own pop-up.
It's free and open source (GPL-3.0), and it records no audio or screen. It's not on the App Store because it does things the sandbox doesn't allow; the README lists exactly which. It needs a MacBook with a notch on macOS 26 or later, and only draws on the built-in display.
What would you want the notch to show that it doesn't yet?
