Le Julien - Sell me this pen. So I built the pen a launch page.

by•
A real product launch page for a €1 plastic ballpoint pen: hero, specs, exploded anatomy, benchmarks, research papers, testimonials, pricing, FAQ. Twelve sections, played completely straight. Then it asks you to sell the pen yourself — and that's when it turns.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I've spent twenty-five years in B2B sales, and I now train founders and sales teams for a living. Every single one of them has been through the same interview exercise: sell me this pen. Most people fail it. Not because they're bad at selling — because they start describing the pen. So I did the thing properly. I gave the pen the launch it never had: a €1 plastic ballpoint, with a hero shot, a full spec sheet (hexagonal polystyrene barrel, tungsten carbide ball, 3,200 metres of autonomy, vented cap), an exploded anatomy of its six components, a capability grid, benchmarks, research papers, testimonials, three pricing tiers and an FAQ. Twelve sections. Not one wink. Then, near the end, the page hands you the pen and asks you to sell it. That's the actual product here — and what happens right after is the reason I built the whole thing. Built solo in Framer, over a few evenings. I'd genuinely love to know two things: how far you scrolled before you started suspecting something, and what you answered when it asked you to sell. — Julien
