I’m cabin crew, so I built the crew app I wished existed ✈️

by

work as cabin crew, and one thing kept bothering me: our working lives are spread across far too many places.

Rosters in one place, crew chats somewhere else, staff travel information in another, pay calculations in spreadsheets, and finding out who’s on the same layover often means another group chat.

So I started building Layvr.

Layvr brings the everyday parts of crew life together roster management, layover crew discovery, pay tools, staff travel, messaging and other tools designed specifically around how airline crew actually work.

I’ve been building it from the perspective of someone who actually uses these tools while flying, and that has shaped a lot of the decisions behind the product.

Layvr is launching here on Product Hunt tomorrow, and I’d genuinely love feedback from the community.

If you work in aviation or have built a product for a very specific professional community — what’s the one thing you think a specialised app needs to get right?
