LastPass has been around for a while, but this is a new release specifically for Macs.

@erictwillis Is this live yet? I can't find it on their website or the Mac App Store. Edit: It's available if you use this link (but not yet via search): https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/...

LastPass's mobile app is great too. For those that do not use a password manager: you should! Whether its LastPass or 1Password (or something else), they all save tons of time and brain cells!

It's definitely a leap to use a password manager. Actually it's a pain in the ass. but it's so worth it.

Passwords aren't going away any time soon so this is the only safe options for the near future. Get onto it.

If you're having trouble convincing your mainstream friends and family try this video

Pros:

relatively simple, good browser plugins, good recovery options

Cons:

more clarity around how ones passwords could be compromised like the recovery keys stored in the browser, or mobile device

LastPass means you never have to use the same password on multiple websites again. Use the handy features to share your passwords with other users and sync your work account so that you can easily onboard team members. User for yeasrs.

Pros:

Can use on any platform

Cons:

sometimes clunky to use in android

The LastPass macOS app works smoothly. Better than the web app.

I have been slowly but surely replacing all my passwords with much more complicated ones thanks to LastPass. It makes it so easy to increase my security online, I am really pleased with it. I use it on my computer and Android both.

Pros:

Seamless across multiple devices Generates secure passwords easily Cost - free!

Cons:

Not much to criticize, especially on free version. They fixed the bugginess that used to be in Android (Pixel 2).
