I’m İsmail, and I built Laklak because browsing the internet started to feel… strangely silent.

You read an article.
You check out a product.
You scroll through a controversial post.

And you think: “I wish I could talk to someone about this right here.”

But instead, you switch tabs.
Search Reddit.
Look for comments somewhere else.

It’s fragmented. Slow. Disconnected.

So I built Laklak.

Laklak is a Chrome extension that turns any webpage into a live chat room.

Every link becomes a conversation space.

No forums.
No complicated setup.
No need to leave the page.

Just click the extension and start talking.

🧠 Why I built this

I believe the web is full of opinions, questions, and ideas — but most of them never get expressed.

Comment sections are broken.
Social media is noisy.
Forums are detached from context.

Laklak adds a conversation layer directly on top of the web itself.

Instead of moving the discussion somewhere else…
the discussion happens where the content is.

I’m focused on:

• Making conversations feel natural and lightweight

• Solving the “empty room” problem

• Helping early users shape how this should evolve
