Solo founder. Built in 4 weeks. AI in Construction

We are live! Three hours in and the demo is already getting some traffic.

For anyone just discovering us: Klava AI reads construction contract preambles with AI, cross-references every position against them, and flags the gaps before bidders ever see the document. Then when bids come in, it compares all positions automatically and surfaces outliers instantly.

No signup needed. Three real German construction projects are pre-loaded at app.klavaai.com. Click Demo starten and you will see a real hospital tunnel project, a rescue station, and a sports hall analysed in seconds.

I would love your upvote and your honest feedback. What would make this useful for you or someone you know?

@julian_enciso Great idea, huge pain point in construction is catching scope gaps early.

I suggest , add a clear "risk score " or priority level for each flagged gap so users instantly know what matters most before digging into details.

@jared_coleman Appreciated Jared!

This feels like a very practical AI use case. Catching scope gaps early in construction sounds painful enough that teams would actually care. Congrats on shipping this so quickly!

Julian Enciso

@alextranua212 Thanks Alex!

Really cool use case construction paperwork and bid comparison feel perfect for AI assistance because there’s so much manual checking involved. Also impressive that you shipped this solo in just 4 weeks 🚀

Julian Enciso

@kathe__jordan Thanks Kathe! Appreciated

Was poking around the demo of Klava AI and the truth is, what stayed with me is that it actually reads the Vorbemerkungen against the LV and points exactly where the next change order is going to come from — with the clause quoted and the position number attached. The bid comparison doesn't just pick the cheaper one, also flags the bidder with 104 suspiciously low prices that looks like a classic Lockvogelpreis move. Feels less like a tendering tool and more like a second pair of eyes from someone that already got burn before. Worth a look if you work with GAEB.

Julian Enciso

@javierenciso Exactly! This is the most basic AI functionality I managed to build in 4 weeks. This is going to developed further in the next few months - No more unpreventable Nachträge!

Only thing I'd add: would be nice to see the reason-for-non-selection field carry the full risk story, not just the missing positions — but honestly a small thing for a beta this solid.

Julian Enciso

@javierenciso True good point! Wrote it down thks!

4 weeks from idea to launch in the construction tech space is impressive speed! AI for contract preambles sounds like a massive time-saver for bidders. As a solo founder, what was the biggest 'non-AI' challenge you faced getting this ready for the real world so quickly?

Julian Enciso

Hi @rivra_dev,

Getting familiar with the law, the processes, and the terminology of the industry was a challenge (still on it tbh)
