KAIROS AI Calendar - Mobile AI planner syncs with wall calendar for families

What inspired us The idea came from our own chaotic family life. We juggled work meetings, kids’ extracurricular classes and daily chores across separate phone calendars. Existing digital wall calendars lacked intelligent coordination, while mobile-only planners couldn’t unify the whole household’s schedules. We hoped to build a seamless link between mobile software and wall-mounted smart hardware, powered by AI to simplify family planning. Problems we set out to solve Current calendar tools split family schedules across devices without real-time sync; manual event creation wastes time; there’s no fun mechanism to motivate kids to finish housework; most products lack personalized interfaces and smart conflict detection. We aimed to fix fragmentation, tedious manual operations, weak family interaction and rigid UI design via AI voice planning, multi-user collaboration, cross-device sync and gamified task rewards. How our development & launch workflow evolved We started with simple prototype sketches, then interviewed dozens of parents to refine core demands. Our first MVP only supported basic sync functions, lacking AI voice and task incentive modules. After multiple rounds of user testing, we rebuilt the AI scheduling engine, added exclusive AI avatar customization and optimized visual aesthetics. For launch preparation, we shifted from scattered content planning to phased iteration: internal closed beta → user feedback collection → function polishing → App Store & Product Hunt simultaneous release, continuously adjusting features based on real household usage feedback.
