Open Source Reflection Skills MCP
Hi community!
At Jots we believe that reflection should be a core engineering skill, especially in this age of AI.
So we built a Reflection Skills MCP and made it open-source.
It is a protocol server that exposes:
evidence-backed reflection frameworks
guided exercises
prompt packs
All configurable by depth and engineering context.
Instead of asking an LLM to “help me reflect,” an agent can select a framework, adapt its depth and apply it to a specific situation (learning, incident, burnout, leadership, etc.)
Why MCP? An MCP brings reflection as infrastructure, not another UI.
Some use cases to explore:
long-term reflection pattern analysis
dev journaling with measurable reflection quality
learning loops after shipping
Here is the open source code if you want to check it out and apply it to your own projects:

We would love feedback on this. Where would this actually fit in your workflow?
