Why manage tasks from your IDE instead of a traditional project management tool?

Developers already spend most of their time inside their development environment. Reducing context switching improves focus and allows project management to become part of the development workflow rather than a separate activity.

How do you see AI agents changing project management over the next few years?

We believe AI agents will evolve from simple assistants into active project participants. Instead of only generating code, they will help create tasks, update progress, identify blockers, and keep project data synchronized.

What makes Jitre different from Jira, Trello, Plane, or Linear?

While existing platforms focus primarily on human users, Jitre is being designed with both developers and AI agents in mind. MCP integration and AI-native workflows are core concepts rather than add-on features.

Why was Jitre created? - ¿Por que nace Jitre?

English

Jitre started as an internal solution to a problem we faced daily: project management tools and development workflows remain disconnected. With the rise of AI coding assistants, this gap is becoming even more apparent.

We believe the next generation of project management software will not only be used by humans but also by AI agents. That's why MCP support and developer-first workflows are core parts of Jitre's vision.

We are especially interested in feedback from teams experimenting with AI-assisted development and open-source project management solutions.
