isGenAI for Chrome - Right-click any image to see if AI made it — for free

by•
Right-click any image on the web and isGenAI reads what the file itself says: signed Content Credentials (C2PA), AI labels in metadata and prompts saved by Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI or InvokeAI. Every result names its source. Free, private by default, no account.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 "Is this image AI?" is the question I kept seeing under every viral picture, and most answers are a guess from how the pixels look. So we built isGenAI for Chrome: right-click any image and it reads the evidence inside the file: 🔏 Content Credentials (C2PA): the signed record that Adobe, OpenAI, Google and camera makers are starting to attach, and whether the signature checks out 🏷️ AI labels in metadata: like the IPTC "trained algorithmic media" marker generators write 📝 Saved prompts: the exact prompt and settings Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI and InvokeAI store in PNGs Every result says where it came from, and when a file carries no record, it says exactly that instead of pretending. It's free, needs no account, and checks are private by default. Nothing is sent until you click. Two honest notes: social platforms strip most of this data when you upload, so the original file always tells you more than a screenshot. And it reads evidence; it doesn't guess from pixels. Would love your feedback, especially from journalists, fact-checkers, teachers and AI artists. What should it check next?
