Most AI startups are about to break EU law and don't know it
Quick one, because almost nobody's talking about it.
Everyone assumes the EU AI Act is a 2027 problem. It got delayed, people relaxed, moved on. But two deadlines still land in 2026: Aug 2 — if your product talks to users or shows AI-made content, you have to disclose it; Dec 2 — generate any synthetic media? It needs a watermark. (Plus a hard ban on nudifier apps.)
Miss them and you're exposed to real fines. But most teams shipping AI right now have no idea which side of the line they're on.
I'm a lawyer turned builder, and I got tired of watching founders guess. So I built a free tool that tells you in ~10 seconds: your risk tier, the exact articles that apply, and a live countdown to each deadline.
Launching it on PH soon.
Now let's test it on you
Drop what your AI does in a reply (one line is enough — "AI that ranks job candidates", "chatbot for support", whatever).
Curious how many of you are in a tier you didn't expect.
