We built the OS to eliminate document chasing, manual reconciliation, and client follow-up forever

Hey Product Hunt! πŸ‘‹

I'm Dan, co-founder of .dodocs β€” and this one's for the accountants.

We talked to hundreds of accounting firms. The story was always the same: over half the working week goes to chasing clients for documents, matching invoices by hand, and reconciling statements β€” work that adds zero value to your clients and zero satisfaction to your day. Meanwhile your actual job β€” analysis, advisory, strategy β€” keeps getting pushed to the weekend.

So we built an OS that runs that work for you.

.dodocs sits on top of QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho and automates the operations your team currently does by hand.

What's live today: πŸ“¬ Chase Loops β€” AI-powered document chasing via email and WhatsApp. Clients get followed up automatically, escalating to a human only when truly needed. Saves 24h/month per firm. πŸ” Reconciliation β€” Automatic invoice ↔ statement matching with fraud detection. Flags duplicates and vendor anomalies before they hit your books.

And there's a founder-side benefit built in: your clients get real-time answers to financial questions β€” cash balance, tax exposure, burn rate β€” without pinging you every time. You become the firm that gives founders what they've always wanted: no waiting, no delays.

This is a smart direction because most accounting pain honestly isn’t doing accounting it’s chasing documents and cleaning messy workflows. Accounting OS feels strongest where it automates the communication loops + reconciliation layer, because that’s the repetitive work firms lose huge amount of time on every month.

@nicholas_anderson0Β Document chasing is honestly of the most frustrating parts of accounting πŸ˜… Glad someone is finally solving this properly.

@lara_bishopΒ Most accounting tools focus on reports while the real pain is operations. this feels much closer to the actual workflow
