I'm Jaye Hembree, creator of YouAt — a privacy-first family

location-sharing app I like to call a "better, friendlier,

affordable alternative to Life360."

The seed was planted 20+ years ago when BlackBerry was still

king and I was driving thru a huge shopping complex mumbling to myself:

"my wife will NEVER find this car — someone needs to build "Where did I park?' with a compass and distance." Fast forward

to today. I'm a semi-retired CNC programmer who saw an ad for Emergent (vibe-coding platform), figured I'd try it. About three hours later, by v1.3.0, the Park feature was alive — Google Map overlay, GPS compass, distance-to-car. It worked.

Then the Emergent agent asked: "want to add Life360-style

features?" I'd never heard of or used Life360. So I asked: "what's wrong

with Life360, can it be made better?" That opened a can of worms. 190 builds and

350 hours later, YouAt is here. One Pixel phone, one laptop, one wife who's non-tech QC was perfect for ease of use and layout design. And my(not sure it's an asset) CNC brain that refuses to turn it loose until it works.

What makes YouAt different:
