The video kept ending, so I built my own focus world 🌧️

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I'm Alex — a solo developer who just joined the community.

For the past 6 months I've been quietly building DeepPane,

a Chrome extension that turns "I need to focus" into an actual

immersive work session: a background scene, a music queue,

a timer, all in one layer you can save and reopen with one click.

It started as a fix for my own problem. I code with ambient

videos playing, but they always end mid-flow and I lose my setup.

So I built the tool I wished existed.

A bit about me:

- I care a lot about calm, well-crafted software

- I believe deep work deserves a better environment than 10 browser tabs

- Chrome MV3 + Cloudflare is my current stack

- Still figuring out the "getting people to notice it" part 😅

I'm here to learn from other makers, share what I find building

in public, and hopefully give back as much as I take.
