Solo, broke, and just launched my first MVP.
Built a listings site so crypto holders can buy real estate/cars directly, skipping the usual cash-out step.
Not a marketplace, not an escrow service — just a directory. You post what you're selling, price it in USDT/USDC/BTC/ETH, buyers contact you directly and arrange the deal themselves (we recommend an independent escrow for anything big). The whole point is cutting out the step where you'd normally cash out crypto to fiat before buying something real — go straight from holding crypto to owning the thing.
Some context, since I think it matters more than the product itself: I've wanted to build something of my own for a long time. Every time, reality got in the way — no experience, no money, no connections in tech. Hands and feet tied, basically. So I never started.
What changed is the tools. I built this entirely with free AI coding tools, because that's genuinely all I had access to — not something I'm proud of, if I had money or coder friends I'd have gone that route instead. But I didn't, so this was the only path open to me.
There were nights this thing wouldn't leave my head, and days where the amount of new information just felt like too much — I nearly gave up more than once.
And honestly, the reality check after the launch hit me even harder. I used to think that building the app was the ultimate boss fight. I was completely wrong. The hardest part is getting your very first users when you have exactly zero cents in your pocket. Algorithms flag you, filters delete your posts, and you end up screaming into a void, watching a flatline of 0 users for days. It drains you completely.
But I’m not quitting. Not anymore.
