Indie Dev from India - Yash Desai - Maker of NoMoreAI
Hey PH 👋 I'm Yash, a solo builder from India.
My intro starts with an annoyance, not a bio: a perfectly real photo got labelled
"AI-generated" on Instagram. No AI image — just one Photoshop Generative Fill edit
to remove a trash can. The label stuck anyway.
Turns out platforms don't judge whether a photo looks AI. They read hidden
metadata in the file — C2PA Content Credentials, IPTC, EXIF/XMP — left behind by
whatever you edited with. So a real photo gets tagged, reach drops, and clients
start asking if you're lying.
So I built NoMoreAI (nomoreai.in): it reads that metadata and strips it, entirely
in your browser — the image is never uploaded. Free, no signup, ZIP batches. It's
honest about limits: metadata only, no pixel watermarks like SynthID, no
"undetectable" claims.
Question for this community: for a free privacy utility like this, is
"client-side tool + paid tier to lift limits" the right model, or does it only
survive as B2B/API? Genuinely want to hear how others have approached it.
