Hi, Solo UK founder, I built a thing!

I've spent months designing, building, vibing, binning many idea's and just trying to get my head around what you can actually do now with the tools we have, its amazing whats possible. I researched real pains in certain business area's and found one i could do something about, I built FetchLedger, it chases bookkeeping clients for their documents so you don't have to.

The problem: the dirty secret of bookkeeping is that the bookkeeping isn't the hard part, getting clients to send their stuff is. Bank statements, that one loan agreement, receipts by text, "what was this £340?". Bookkeepers lose hours every week chasing, and clients flat-out refuse to log into yet another portal.

What I built: FetchLedger.co.uk . You set up each client's document checklist once (month end, VAT quarter, year end, MTD). They get a simple link — no login, works on their phone — and it politely auto-chases until everything's in, then stops. One red/amber/green dashboard across every client. Flat price, unlimited clients.

Where it's at: live and in private (invite only) beta on my own domain, real multi-tenant accounts, encrypted document storage, the lot. I'm now putting it in front of bookkeepers for feedback.
