š Hi Product Hunt, I'm Kennedy. I've never launched anything & today I'm a maker on a live launch.
Most intros start with a job title. Mine starts with a date: September 28. That's when my friend Josh asked me to run marketing for Vresk, the AI workspace he built, with launch set for this week. I said yes before I'd thought about what it meant.
What I've learned in those 9 days, in case it helps anyone with a launch coming up:
⢠Email real people, one at a time. We reached about 70 small creators by hand, each email opening with something about their actual work. No mass tool. The replies came from the ones where I'd clearly read their stuff.
⢠Check your email setup before you send anything. Our domain was missing a record and the first batch bounced as spam.
⢠A press release is a news story, not a pitch. Our first version got rejected by the wire for sounding like an ad. The plain version went out this morning.
⢠Keep a single list of what's done. Launch day runs on a hundred small tasks and I lost track twice before lunch.
What Vresk is, in one line: send one prompt to up to three open models like Kimi K3 and DeepSeek V4 Pro, read the answers side by side, and your notes and files stay in one workspace no matter which model you're using. Every reply names the model that wrote it. We're live today at producthunt.com/products/vresk and you can try it at vresk.ai without an account.
I'm the marketing half, Josh built it. I'll be around this forum learning from everyone here. If you've launched before, what's the one thing you wish someone had told you the night before?
