Hi PH — I answered 200–500 messages a day for two years, then built the tool I wanted
Hey everyone 👋
I'm a solo maker. For about two years I ran a store where the actual job was answering messages — 200 to 500 a day across Gmail, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, in roughly 20 languages.
Two things ground me down. Every platform is a different box in a different tab, each with its own rules about who you're even replying to. And when someone wrote in their own language, I mostly couldn't answer properly — every tool I tried was built for English speakers writing to English speakers.
So I built AI Reply Writer. It's a Chrome extension that puts a reply button inside 22 sites you already use, reads the actual conversation — the whole thread, the image being discussed, the PDF on the email — and drafts something in your voice, in the language the conversation is happening in. 76 of them, including Roman Urdu and Roman Hindi, which is the part I care about most.
It never sends anything. Every draft lands in your composer for you to edit.
It's just gone live on the Chrome Web Store and I'm launching here soon. Mostly I'm here to learn from people who've done this before — I've built the thing, distribution is the part I know least about.
If you've launched a Chrome extension on PH: what would you do differently?
