Hi, I'm Rodrigo. Solo builder working on a native Mac email app.
Hey everyone,
I'm Rodrigo, a developer who ships products end to end: design, backend, mobile, and lately a lot of Swift.
The thing I'm spending most of my time on right now is bytemail, a native Mac email client. The short version: Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, Yahoo, Fastmail and any IMAP account in one fast window, with mail that never touches our servers. The part I'm having the most fun with is the MacBook notch. New messages and sign-in codes grow out of it, and Undo Send literally flies a paper plane through it. There's also an MCP server so Claude and other AI apps can read and act on your inbox.
Before this I built a few other things, all still running:
- RAVK, an AI partner that helps with business plans, drafts, and daily briefings
- QK Live, a voice-room and live-streaming app on iOS and Android in seven languages
- EQOWA Fintech, a platform for compliant security tokens (ERC-3643) on Polygon
I joined Product Hunt to launch bytemail soon, but honestly also to learn from other makers here. If you've launched a Mac app on PH before, I'd love to hear what worked and what you'd do differently.
Nice to meet you all!

Welcome, Rodrigo. Sign in codes growing out of the notch is a lovely touch. A note from the sending side of those codes: my app emails sign in links, and Gmail gets them within seconds, while Yahoo and AOL addresses can wait anywhere from 1 to 19 hours because the provider defers the mail. Nothing a client can fix, but if users ever ask why a code shows up late, the account type is the first thing I'd look at.
