Hi everyone,

I'm Moss'Ab, I'm 19 and I finish my engineering degree next year. I skipped three grades, which mostly means I have spent my whole life being the youngest person in the room and getting used to it.

I have been building things online since I was a teenager. Most of them went nowhere. A marketplace nobody used, a tool I rewrote three times and never launched, a couple of projects I killed the week before shipping because I lost faith in them.

One did work: a tracker I built for a virus outbreak got 1.5 million views and put me on regional TV, which taught me the thing I actually needed, that distribution is a skill and not luck.

The failures taught me more than that one did. Mostly that I was building for an imaginary user, and that shipping late is the same as not shipping.

Yesterday we launched Murmell on Product Hunt. It is a canvas where several coding agents run in the cloud and your team can watch them work.

We are at $300 MRR one day in, which is small and is also the first money I have ever made from something I built.

I am here to learn from people who have done this longer than I have. If you launched recently, what surprised you most in the first week?

congrats on the launch and the $300, that first dollar from something you built yourself hits different than any other money. what surprised me most the first week of my last launch was how much of the traffic was people who never commented at all, the comment section felt like a small conversation but the view count was ten times bigger than that. made me realize the comments aren't really the audience, they're just the visible tip of it. also the tracker story is the more interesting founding story here honestly, 1.5 million views taught you distribution before you even had a company to apply it to, that's a real head start over most first time founders
