Hi, I'm Martin. I build Android apps after work.

I'm from the Netherlands and work full-time as a technical operator and shift supervisor.

I don't have a traditional software development background. I've always been good at figuring out how things work and finding the right tools to solve problems. Now I can actually turn some of my own ideas into working software.

I've built several Android apps, including FilesToNAS, FilesToEuro and Klusrekentools.

FilesToNAS started because I wanted to back up files from my phone directly to my NAS. No cloud, no account, no subscription. I use it myself every day.

The apps are out there now. Getting people to actually find them is proving harder than building them.

That's partly why I'm here. I'd like to hear how other independent developers handle that, especially those building things alongside a regular job.
