Hi, I'm Boahs, a QA engineer who builds browser tools
Hey everyone, I'm Boahs. I've worked in software quality assurance for more than six years, primarily around test automation, browser testing, APIs, regression strategy, and CI/CD.
Outside of work, I like building small tools that solve problems I run into myself.
My latest project is ChannelFence, an open-source Chrome extension for persistently blocking unwanted YouTube creators.
A large part of the project has been figuring out how to test an extension against a site that changes as frequently as YouTube. It now has unit tests, deterministic Playwright regression coverage, live YouTube smoke tests, and automated GitHub Actions workflows.
I'm here to share what I build, learn from other makers, and see how people approach testing and maintaining independent browser products.
