Hey Product Hunt! I'm Travis Allen — built a conflict resolution product - Send A Vent
Hello everyone!
I’m Travis Allen, checking in from Western Wisconsin in a small town called Menomonie. I’m a first-time maker here, and next Sunday (September 27th), I’m launching my first major project: Send A Vent.
A bit about my background: I’m currently pursuing a degree in psychology, studying communication breakdowns and how humans navigate acute stress. Over the years, I realized that most everyday conflicts—whether with a landlord, a coworker, or an unhelpful customer support desk—don't start out of malice. They start because people struggle to find the right words when emotions run high, and situations spiral into exhausting arguments that nobody wins.
I wanted to see if AI could be used as a calming, constructive bridge: translating raw frustration into structured, law-backed demand letters, USPS certified mail, and binding settlement agreements out of court. I am excited to see where the AI mediator product goes in the future, and I just added AI generated agreements to solidify a resolution.
Being a prior small business owner, I know how valuable time is. Send A Vent is designed to cut down the response time from responders by a great deal and handle the "heavy lifting" to resolve the conflict. The Resolution Dashboard is where the magic happens. It is very easy to use and if effective.
I took a different approach with addressing personal contacts. With personal contacts, it is meant for people that usually leave a conversation saying, "I wish I would have said..." or "I shouldn't have said it like that." When you vent and refine your message, you can opt to send your vent to a personal contact via K.I.M. (Kind Intentional Messaging). You have a teleprompter message to allow you to stay on point (because often times the message we WANT to be heard, is not because we veered from what our point was...I set the personal messages like this because it adds a layer of care when addressing these types of issues.
I love politics (most of the time) and respect anyone that is in public office and even if I do not agree with them. Over the next 2 years I will be adding a political component to the platform with an open town hall feature. I will talk more about this in a future launch.
When I’m not neck-deep in dispute-resolution workflows or study notes, I’m usually at the piano, singing, or geeking out over decentralized tech and crypto news.....and politics.
Excited to connect with fellow makers here!
Quick question for the community: When you hit a wall in a dispute (billing, landlord, client, or workplace), what's your go-to move—do you cool off and write, vent it all out, or just walk away?
HUG FAVOR of the community: I would be honored and would appreciate any feedback on the platform from people that know what they are doing. If you have time before September 27th, go check out the demo mode at https://app.sendavent.com/register - There is a list of features to check out, and I added a pre-launch survey if you find any bugs in the system or have any recommendations.
Would love to hear your thoughts and check out what you’re all building!
