Hey Product Hunt - I’m Adity, building MemoryOS

by

I’m building MemoryOS around a problem that became obvious once I went deeper into AI memory:

Remembering is becoming easy. Governing what gets remembered is not.

Once an AI application has multiple agents, models, sessions, and data sources, memory starts behaving like shared state.

Then harder questions appear:

  • What happens when two agents remember conflicting things?

  • Which source has authority?

  • What is the current truth vs. something that was true last month?

  • Why does the AI believe a certain fact?

  • Can a user control what is remembered?

  • What happens when a memory should expire, be corrected, or deleted?

That’s the layer we’re building with MemoryOS.

Instead of simply storing memories, MemoryOS focuses on conflict resolution, provenance, consent, temporal history, authority, lifecycle, and trusted retrieval -so applications can decide what their agents should actually trust.
