Hey PH fellows!

Hey everyone! I’m Johny, a content writer and web dev enthusiast. I've been a quiet lurker on Product Hunt for ages, but seeing all the cool stuff everyone launches here finally gave me the push to say hello!

Most of my days go into front-0end coding, messing around with clean web layouts, and digging into weird online trends and internet culture to write about them. I'm basically all about taking messy tech stuff and making it simple and fun to read.

Lately, I’ve been building my own projects and putting all my focus into creating useful digital resources. If you're curious and want to check out my , feel free to take a look!

Super excited to hang out here, learn from other makers, and see what you guys are building. Drop a comment if you're into web dev or digital culture too!

Johny, the thing you describe as your day job is one of the scarcest skills in developer tools right now.

Most open source projects do not fail because the code is bad. They fail because nobody can tell within sixty seconds what it does or whether it solves their problem. For that first minute the README is the product, and almost nobody treats it that way.

A concrete way in, if you want one. Pick any open source tool launching here, read its page as a total stranger, and write down the exact sentence where you got lost. Send that to the maker. It is worth more to them than an upvote, and it is how writers end up working with builders instead of pitching them.
