👋 Hello Product Hunt, I'm Bayu, an indie builder from Indonesia building NAEOS.
Most introductions start with what someone is building.
Mine starts with a problem I kept seeing:
Docs say one thing. Code says another. And every new engineer has to figure out what actually happened.
I've spent a lot of time experimenting with AI coding agents, and they made this problem even more interesting.
They can write code incredibly fast.
But speed isn't the same as engineering.
An experienced engineer doesn't just know how to write code. They understand the architecture, the standards, the constraints, the decisions, and the reasons behind them.
AI agents need that context too.
That's what led me to start building NAEOS — an Engineering Operating System for AI coding agents.
NAEOS brings together:
Engineering standards.
Architecture.
Knowledge.
Workflows.
Quality gates.
AI agent instructions.
The idea is simple:
Don't just give AI agents code. Give them an engineering system to work within.
I'm building NAEOS in public, documenting the architecture, experiments, failures, and lessons along the way.
I'm not sure exactly where this will lead yet.
And that's part of the fun.
🇮🇩 I'm building this from Indonesia and hoping to connect with developers, builders, architects, and AI engineers who are thinking about the same future.
One question for you:
What's the biggest problem you've experienced when working with AI coding agents?
Bad code?
Missing context?
Inconsistent architecture?
Or something else?
I'd genuinely love to hear it.
👋 Glad to be here, Product Hunt.
