From WordPress developer to building my own security plugin
Hi Product Hunt community!
I’m Naveen, a developer and founder from India. I’m building SecureLite Security, a free WordPress security plugin that proves its protections work.
I’ve spent years building and maintaining WordPress websites, and lately I’ve been focusing on a problem that became impossible for me to ignore: how can we know whether a website’s security protections are actually working? After seeing how much damage automated spam can cause to a real website, I started building it.
One feature I’m particularly excited about is Attack Simulation. Instead of just showing enabled settings, it runs controlled tests against the plugin’s own protections and reports what passed, what needs attention, and why.
I’m still learning how to bring a developer-built product to more people, so I’m here to learn from other makers, share what I discover, and exchange honest feedback.
I’d love to connect with fellow WordPress developers, indie hackers, and first-time product makers.
What’s one thing you wish you’d known before trying to get your first users?
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
