From $0 to $1k/day by accident — now I’m building hotflow.app

I'm Thibaut, the maker behind hotflow.app.

Before I talk about what I'm launching today, let me tell you a quick story about how I got here.

In December 2022, right when ChatGPT was released to the general public and my girlfriend was away on vacation, I built a website about ChatGPT without even figuring out how I was going to monetize it if it ever got visitors. I wrote all the texts with ChatGPT itself (how to use ChatGPT, etc.)—around 10 pages in total. It was only my second-ever SEO site, and the second site I ever created (on WordPress).

December, January, February: nothing happened. A few visits, but nothing exceptional. I had applied to join AdSense, but they didn't want to accept my site.

Then, March 2023. A Google core update made my site explode. I received an email from OVH telling me my hosting plan wasn't enough and I needed to upgrade. I thought: WTF is going on?

What was going on was that overnight, I found myself with more than 70,000 visits a day, ranking between 1st and 3rd position for "chat gpt" in France.

It was massive! But all those visits without making a single euro?

Then, I rethought about AdSense. Back then, there were very few affiliate programs linked to AI. Finally, AdSense accepted the site. I pasted the script. 10 minutes later: €30. That evening, I had made over €250.

€250, €500, €600, €700, €1,000 in the following days... it was always more money. All that lasted for several months. But that single day changed my life and my convictions forever. The web is genuinely the best place to make money quickly and easily.

Since that day, I have never stopped creating. A few months ago, I talked to my dad about hotflow.app. He looked at me and asked: "Is this new idea as good as...?" I smiled and replied: "No. It's better."

Today, I’m thrilled to introduce hotflow.app 🚀 launching on the 11th November.
It is a multilingual conversational AI and link-in-bio tool designed to help creators and agencies engage their audience and convert traffic effortlessly.
