Dental school dropout, jiu jitsu addict, currently pretending to know about AI

I started in dental school, figured out it wasn't for me, and ended up in sales instead. Somewhere in there I got a BJJ black belt, which taught me more about handling pressure than any job has.

Work-wise I've spent my time around infrastructure and AI companies, and lately I've gone deep on something I didn't expect to care about this much: biology. Specifically cancer and how AI is starting to reshape drug discovery and design. I find it genuinely fascinating that the same kinds of models reshaping software are now being pointed at problems like immune response and mRNA.
