Built a crypto-only Craigslist alternative with $0 budget. Am I crazy or does the market need this?

Hey PH community!

I’ve been lurking here for a long time, dreaming of launching my own thing. But without coding skills, tech connections, or a budget, I always felt stuck.

A couple of weeks ago, I finally decided to stop making excuses and built an MVP entirely using free AI coding tools.

It’s called Solum (). It’s a clean peer-to-peer directory that connects buyers and sellers who want to trade cars and real estate directly using crypto (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH), completely skipping the traditional bank cash-out step.
Why? Because traditional banks keep freezing accounts and flagging users whenever they try to cash out large crypto gains to buy something real in the US. Solum acts as a simple classifieds board — no wallet connection required (0 phishing/scam risks), no smart contracts, no fees. Just a pure directory where you contact the seller directly. For safety, we heavily promote using an independent escrow to close the deal.

My initial launch a few days ago was a brutal reality check — 0 users. I quickly learned that building the app with AI is the easy part; getting visibility with absolutely zero dollars in marketing is the real boss fight. But I’m not quitting. I’ve updated the site with real US vehicle listings and fixed some early bugs.

I’d love to get some raw, honest feedback from the PH crowd:

  1. Would you trust a clean P2P directory to find high-ticket items priced in crypto?

  2. What features or trust signals are missing to make you feel 100% safe using it?

Thanks for reading, and happy weekend!
