BayPilot LLC, the newbie.
Hello Product Hunt community! I am Nick Clifton, founder and creator of my new SaaS platform, BayPilot LLC.
The world of automation, software development, brand awareness, marketing and promoting a green product is a familiar process. However, supporting the cause with no financial assistance has been challenging.
I began building my platform only a month and a half ago, and after a lot of trial and error, I can finally say with confidence that I have a complete product.
BayPilot is a fully automated SaaS (software as a service) dedicated solely to custom automotive shops. Traditional shops which perform vehicle maintenance (engine work, tires, tune ups, oil changes) already have a few automated products like BayPilot.
The custom automotive shops who apply vinyl wraps, window tint, lift kits, audio/electronic installations, custom paint jobs, specialized modifications, etc., were never covered. That’s where BayPilot comes in.
We offer custom shop owners a product that is sent via web link to their customers when contacted for a quote. Their customer opens the link and enters their vehicle information; uploads a few photos of what they want done, specifies the modifications in the platform, and Ai generates a quote for the customer in under 30 seconds.
This is huge, considering most shops are still answering a front desk phone with pen and paper, jotting down customer and vehicle information, then rushing to get a quote put together keeping the potential customer in limbo - who most likely goes to the fastest quote.
We offer a quote in 30 seconds vs 2-4 days - which is a game changer. If the customer wants to have the work done once they get their quote, they follow the prompts and select from the shop’s availability and book their appointment.
The only thing the shop has to do besides send the initial quote link is check the email that is generated when the customer books an appointment, and either approve or deny the request. That’s it!
Now BayPilot users will have twice as much time to dedicate to their craftsmanship - performing the modifications and working in the bay instead of hunting for quote details.
We offer 3 tiers of monthly service, the basic tier offering use of the platform. The middle tier gives the shop the option to customize their quotes job by job, rather than the basic tier which gives their customers a quote range. The final tier provides analytics and a few other services.
BayPilot is live, it is ready to use, has Stripe payment integration, and is equipped with a 14-day trial with no obligation.
The biggest challenge I am facing now is actually getting customers to sign up for BayPilot. I have a profile on Instagram, I share a blog once a week, and I am still networking and looking for angel investors who might be interested in my product.
My product can be found at https://www.baypilot.shop .
If anyone reading this has any suggestions or advice for me, I am all ears. Also, if you know someone who manages a custom body shop, please send them my link!
I am currently seeking angel investors or other potential investors, as well as grants and small business loans. I know there is an endless amount of information on the internet about getting funding, but I seem to be looking in all the wrong places.
I am still pre-revenue, but I really need to get the ball rolling so I can expand. I appreciate your advice in advance, and look forward to growing a brand with you guys.
Best Regards,
Nick Clifton
