18 years on trading floors, now I'm building a team of AI agents
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Alex, @olga_primak co-founder. If you read her post, you know she can't code and shipped a CRM anyway. I'm the other half of that story: I spent 18 years as a software engineer on trading floors at Millennium, ExodusPoint, Citi and UBS, building real-time systems where downtime isn't an option.
I kept running into the same thing with AI tools, in my own work and with founders I talked to: they help with tasks, but nobody owns the outcome. You are still the PM, the reviewer, the QA and the person who remembers what comes next.
So Olga and I built Operum: six AI agents with fixed roles (PM, Architect, Engineer, Tester, Marketing, Community) that work together the way a small team does.

You talk to the PM. The work happens in GitHub, where every issue and pull request is there to read, and the Tester can block a merge until QA passes. You decide what ships.
It isn't magic. It runs on your own Claude plan (Max, Team or Enterprise) or an Anthropic API key, and it's still rough in places: setup takes a few steps (a desktop install, GitHub, and connecting your Claude account), and agents occasionally go quiet mid-task and need a nudge. We're fixing that.
We launch on Product Hunt this Thursday, Oct 15. Until then I'd love to hear: what would you hand to an AI team first, and what would stop you?
Alex

The other half of the story checking in π
To answer Alex's question from the non-technical side - the first thing I handed to the team was my photography studio's website, the one I'd rebuilt on Wix three times and never liked. It was done in under a week.
What nearly stopped me wasn't the tools. It was not believing I could build software at all. It took finishing that first small thing to change my mind, and then I built my studio's whole client system.
So I'm curious too, for those of you who don't code, what's the one thing you'd build first if you had a team to do it with you?
The operum is quite interesting project, one part that you can talk only to the project manager but you also can communicate with others makes me trust this system
Postponed the planned launch.. Executing plan B after official reply from Antrophic regarding terms of service for subscription-based plan usage.
