18 years in RevOps taught me exactly where money quietly disappears
Hi all — I'm Shahbaz. I've spent 18+ years across retail operations, CRM at Telenor, IT systems at Cybernet, and most recently as VP of Sales at InnovoSolutions.
These days I work where sales operations, software, and commercial discipline meet — building CRM and pipeline systems, lead capture and routing, and GTM automation (HubSpot, n8n, Make, webhooks/API integrations) for founders and sales teams whose revenue workflows are slow, disconnected, or stuck depending on someone remembering to follow up.
That's actually how I found this idea — not through a personal construction background, but because the pattern is one I've seen in every industry I've worked in: money doesn't disappear because people aren't working hard, it disappears because nobody owns the moment information gets lost. When I researched how specialty contractors track change orders, I found exactly that failure mode, just with higher stakes — real work, real value, and no system catching the deadline before it's gone.
That's why I built ScopeLedger — a private workspace for specialty contractors to capture changed work, track notice deadlines, organize evidence against each change, and see exposure across every project in one place, instead of losing it all to scattered emails and spreadsheets.
Launching on PH this Tuesday, Aug 4 — happy to answer anything about the product, the build, or the GTM side.
