Image Convert - Convert images locally, right in your browser

I originally built Image Convert for myself. I needed to convert some images, but the files contained company contracts and other sensitive information. I didn’t feel comfortable uploading them to someone else’s server just to change the file format. The alternatives I found usually required downloading and installing software, which felt unnecessarily inconvenient for such a simple task. So I started wondering: why can’t image conversion happen locally in the browser, without uploading the files and without installing anything? That idea became Image Convert. At first, it was just a small tool for my own workflow — something I could open whenever I needed to convert an image format quickly and privately. Later, I realized that a lot of other people had the same concern: they wanted the convenience of an online tool without having to hand their files over to a remote server. So I decided to turn it into a product and make it available to everyone.
