I built Hyperpixel: free AI upscaling (yes, actually free)

by•

Hey everyone,

after yet another batch of photos received from a client that were the size of a postage stamp, I decided to build my own image upscaler: Hyperpixel.

It does AI image upscaling in one click. The core version is completely free – no trial, no credit card, no "first month free then we gouge you." If you need extra power (batch processing, poster-level resolutions, etc.), there will be 2 premium plans. But for everyday use, it's zero euros.

The maintenance costs for the free version are covered by legitimate advertising (no intrusive banners) and voluntary donations.

It's made for designers, photographers, and creatives (but also common pepole) who don't want to pay subscriptions and keep their data safe.

In fact, your images are never used for AI training, and we don't store them longer than needed.

It's 100% privacy – because your photos aren't our business model.

If you want to try it, let me know what you think. Brutally honest feedback is welcome. I promise I won't cry (much).

Thanks!
