9 launches, mostly crickets. So I automated the market research step I kept skipping

by•

Hi Hunters! I'm Yassine.

Quick confession: I've launched 9 SaaS products in 3 years, and most of them got crickets. Every time, the warning signs were there before I wrote a line of code: a cheaper rival, almost nobody searching for the problem, buyers happy with a spreadsheet. I just never looked, because building (and perfecting dark mode) was more fun than research.

The one time I did the research properly, it took three days and more browser tabs than my laptop could handle. And quick AI scores weren't the answer either: three popular idea checkers gave the same idea 77, 82 and 98.

Hunchcheck is the tool I wish I'd had. Paste your idea or PRD, and in about 15 minutes it collects real data: search numbers and ad prices, competitor pricing, Reddit and Hacker News posts, app and Trustpilot reviews, job posts and official US business counts. Then it answers the 21 questions I always skipped, like "Will people pay?", "How many customers do I need?" and "Could ChatGPT do this for free tomorrow?". Every answer is scored and linked to its sources. You also get people to contact and a 7-day test plan. Tell it your income goal, time and budget, and it checks whether the idea fits you too.

It won't tell you if you're good at selling. It will tell you if nobody is looking for what you're about to build.

Hoping the crickets skip this one :) What's the one question you'd want answered before you build?
