Tell your QR code what to do, in plain words and it automatically builds smart rules for you

byโ€ข

Hey makers ๐Ÿ‘‹ Pash here, maker of HueQR.

A printed QR code sends everyone to the same page. Someone on an iPhone scans and lands on Google Play. A phone set to Spanish gets your English page. Your sale ended on Sunday, and Monday's scans still go there.

HueQR has had smart rules for this for a while: device, location, language, time, dates and scan count. But building rules meant picking conditions one by one, and most people never did.

So today we're shipping HueQR AI. You type what you want:

"iPhones get the App Store, Spanish phones get the Spanish page, from Monday send everyone to the new collection"

and it builds the rules for you.

A few things I cared about while building it:

  • It asks before it guesses. If something is unclear, like which page is the new collection?, you get one quick question with your options, not a wrong rule.

  • It only uses your real links: the code's own link, your business profile, and your other codes on the same site. No made-up URLs.

  • Nothing goes live until you save. You get a draft in the Flow view, check it, then save.

  • Change it the same way. "Start the new collection on Saturday" updates that one rule and leaves the rest alone.

This 50-second video shows the whole flow:

HueQR AI is part of Pro, and there's a 14-day free trial:

One ask: reply with a rule you'd want your QR code to follow, in plain words. I'll run it through HueQR AI and post back what it builds. ๐Ÿงก
