Quick story. Last month I noticed a customer had churned from my SaaS. When I looked into it, their payment had actually failed three days earlier. The retry failed too. By the time I saw it in my Stripe dashboard, they'd already moved on. The worst part? This wasn't the first time. I just had no system for knowing about these things in real time. I relied on checking dashboards "when I remembered", which, honestly, was maybe once a day on a good day. I tried a few approaches: - Slack notifications, lasted about a week before the channel became noise I ignored - Email rules, buried under everything else - Zapier, worked but felt insane to pay $20/mo just to get a ping on my phone So I ended up building my own thing. Basically: webhook comes in → push notification goes to my phone. That's the whole concept. Pick a source, grab a URL, paste it in Stripe/PayPal/GitHub/ whatever, choose which events you care about, done. The thing that surprised me is how much my response time improved. Not in some KPI-dashboard way, but literally, a payment fails and I'm emailing the customer within minutes instead of days. A few people have replied saying "wow, that was fast" which shouldn't be impressive but apparently is. Curious if anyone else has dealt with this. How do you stay on top of webhook events from your payment/ecommerce/dev tools without drowning in noise? If anyone wants to try it: hookfire.app it's free to start and I'd genuinely love feedback.
