Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Homebase because my own family was juggling too many disconnected tools. We had multiple group texts filled with photos and messages I’d inevitably miss. A family calendar that nobody consistently updated (or everyone had access to). Important information scattered everywhere: our HSA, kids’ school portals and schedules, sports schedules, Wi-Fi passwords, even the paint colors of our house. Then there were the endless to-dos, written down in different places at home and at work. And despite all of it, I still felt like I could never get the right information, schedules, and photos to everyone who mattered most. Grandparents and in-laws were often stuck getting family updates secondhand. Trying to solve that logistics problem led me to a bigger realization: social media is built around individuals. Your feed. Your followers. Your posts. But our lives aren’t always organized that way. Family is collective. I wanted a social experience where the feed wasn’t about building a personal brand or collecting followers, but about the families you actually care about. A place where families can connect with other families, share everyday life, and stay connected with the people who matter most. So we built Homebase: a family organization platform with a shared calendar, tasks, shopping lists, meal planning, resources, and a family-centered social feed, all in one place. The goal is simple: less digital noise, less family logistics scattered across a dozen apps, and more togetherness. Homebase is free to download, and I’d genuinely love your feedback — especially if you’re a busy parent juggling more apps than you’d like to admit.
