A majority (≈ 60–70%) of U.S. households have their home as their biggest individual asset, yet many don't know how to manage it properly. I wanted a platform that could help homeowners keep track of their real estate value, track market conditions to understand the best time to sell, mortgage rates to estimate how much they could save if they refinance or forecast when to refinance. I also wanted to help homeowners understand what renovations would bring them the biggest ROI, how much they could make if they rented it out short or long term. And as a Florida resident, there are so many small maintenance tasks that are unique to our climate that is critical for new homeowners to understand which is why I added a home maintenance checklist that is unique to one's climate and season.
