Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Hidden Camera Detector after realizing how little awareness we usually have about the devices around us, especially while traveling or staying in short-term rentals. Most people carry a powerful sensor in their pocket but rarely use it to understand their surroundings. I wanted to change that. The app combines simple techniques like nearby device scanning and camera lens reflection filters to help people notice potentially suspicious electronics. No external hardware, no accounts, everything runs directly on the iPhone. This project went through many iterations.
