My father is in the construction business and handles around a dozen of staff. I have seen him juggling between 2-3 attendance registers and then calculating salary for each of staff. Sometimes he used to get screwed when calculations were just overwhelming 🤯 Being an android developer, I knew that this problem can be solved by building a simple app. One screen for marking attendance of all staff and one screen which will show the salary calculated, that's all. So I built a simple app for him and he liked it 😎 After few months, while I was going through the MSME segment report and then a few related blogs I realized that a lot of small businesses in India still use traditional ways for doing things in day-to-day business activities. Some problems like book-keeping, invoice making have been solved but I feel an app for managing staff has still a lot of potentials to grow. Without wasting time, I interacted with a few of my father's friends and some business owners nearby. They said they would love to have such a solution. I redesigned the app to make it very simple to use and offer it in several Indian languages and launch it on the play store 🤩 Please have a look, your suggestions and reviews will be very helpful 😇 Cheers, Karan.
